About This Winery
Mona Rose Winery, as named after my
wife, Monica Rose, was established in
2013. We are one of Wisconsin’s premier
wineries with internationally
award-winning wines located in Green
Bay, Wisconsin. We specialize in small
batch hand-crafted locally revered &
loved wines. We take a minimalist
approach to winemaking, limiting sulfates
and other additives to our wines; similar
to the European style of winemaking. Our
fermentation room is located on site and
open for public viewing.
The varietal raw product that we ferment
to produce our quality wines comes from
the San Joaquin River Valley in central
California. These vineyards are located in
Lodi, Woodbridge, Merced, Modesto,
Solano, and Visalia to name a few. This is
the largest grape growing area in
California with over 151,000 acres of
grapevines under cultivation including
many AVAs (American Viticultural Areas)
